• E-mail Gordon Brown for more public holidays! (& whatever!) Britain has relatively few public holidays compared with other European countries. Sweden for example has 16 - twice what we have! (& unofficial half days too). If they can have so many, why can't we? Gordon Brown mentions 'Better work-life balance' in his policy section - so ask him for more public holidays! (if you can find the time!!). And why isn't there more emphasis on eradicating poverty?
